Congratulations on your recent marriage! Announcing your marriage in The Daily Journal is easy. Just follow these simple steps: Simply complete this form and attach your photograph online. Or if you prefer, you can drop a hard copy of your photo off at The Journal office closest to you.

The Daily Journal is proud to offer you this free community announcement along with a full-color photograph. However, forms and photos must be received within 12 months of the wedding date. We want to publish your announcement while it is still newsworthy, so we cannot guarantee publication of any announcements received more than 12 months after the wedding date. If your photographer is unable to have your photos printed within six months of the wedding, he may be able to provide you with a proof, which can be mailed. If you need to get it to us even quicker, just e-mailed it to life@daily-journal.com.

Announcements run every Sunday in the Life section. If you want your photo to run in color, be sure to send us a color photograph. Some couples prefer their picture run in black and white. If you prefer your photo run in black and white, please specify on the form or let us know when you drop off your picture. Note that all black and white photos will run on the facing black and white page in the newspaper.

If you would like your photograph returned, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your information. You may also pick it up at our Kankakee office after it appears in the paper. Photographs will be held for 30 days after publication. The Journal is not responsible for photos left over 30 days.
