2002

In 2002, The Daily Journal was an award-winning newspaper in every way.
In total, The Daily Journal hauled in 62 honors or awards last year. The paper was cited for nearly every facet of production. Honors were bestowed for news and editorial writing, page layout and design, photography, graphics, special sections, display and classified advertising, as well as color and print quality.
Of course, over the years, The Daily Journal has annually garnered a number of awards and honors. Such success is a fitting tribute to the many talented and hard-working professional employees that make The Daily Journal a valued newspaper in the community, state and nation.
