Why has the website changed?
We continue to look for better ways produce products that meet the different needs of our customers. The website now offers many of the same items you have used, plus provide a quick summary of local news events when you are in a hurry. You can then you can read a more complete report in our paid print and web versions of the newspaper.
Why do I have to pay for what I was getting for free?
Like any business we need to make a profit. We cannot spend in excess of $1,000,000 a year producing complete local news coverage and then give it away.
What is the web version of the paper?
The web version will look just like the print edition only viewable from your browser. You will be able to change the size of the display, and turn pages. However, advertising supplements will not be able to be viewed from the web version.
What will the web version cost?
The web version will be the same rates and subscription lengths as the print edition, and will include the EZ pay option. You will also be able to buy a single issue of the web edition.
If I subscribe to the print edition, will I also have access to the web version?
Yes. Please mark the appropriate box that states you are a current home delivery subscriber.
How do I subscribe to the web edition?
From daily-journal.com, click on the icon that looks like the newspaper and fill out the necessary information, including your payment choice. That is all that is required.
